Who we are

This website is operated by SEND Consultancy Ltd (company number 11940163), trading asSEND Consultancy, registered in Solihull, England. For the purposes of UK data protection law, SEND Consultancy Ltdis the data controller for personal information submitted through this site.

What we collect

The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to give us through the contact form:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you choose to give it (optional)
• The content of your message

We ask that you don't include sensitive details about a child's or student's assessment history, diagnosis, or health in the message field. If we need that information, we'll ask for it directly once we're in contact, through a more appropriate channel.

How we use it

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry: for example, to reply by email, discuss booking an assessment, or answer a question about our services. We do not use it for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you have chosen to send us, and, where you tick the consent box on the form, your consent.

How your enquiry reaches us

When you submit the contact form, it is sent through a secure function hosted on Cloudflare, checked by Cloudflare Turnstile (a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs, used to reduce automated spam), and delivered to us by email via our email provider, Resend. We do not store submissions in a database on this website. Once your message has been emailed to us, it exists only in our own mailbox, which we manage directly.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for analytics, tracking or advertising. Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects the contact form from automated spam, may use limited technical signals to distinguish people from bots; it does not track you for advertising purposes. No other cookies are set by this site.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, where an assessment goes ahead, to maintain the professional records that our regulatory and safeguarding obligations require. We periodically review and delete correspondence that's no longer needed.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information, where there's no overriding reason for us to keep it
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact form or by phone on 07738 307274. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) ↗, the UK's independent regulator for data protection.

Children's information

This contact form is intended to be used by parents, carers, school staff, or adults enquiring on their own behalf, not by children submitting their own details. If you're a parent or carer enquiring about a child, the information you provide about them is used only to respond to your enquiry.
